Buffalo Bills call up captivating Cap Capi from practice squad

To recap yesterday's moves by the Buffalo Bills, the team placed Jordan Matthews and Shaq Lawson on IR shutting them down for the season. With the two open roster spots the Bills added Brandon Reilly and Cap Capi to the roster from their practice squad. I'm not that excited about Reilly but I'm captivated by Cap Capi.

Capi has bounced around the NFL in his young career. He's been able to put a feather in his cap with the Jaguars, Ravens, Falcons, Cardinals, Giants and now the Bills. He's traveled to more places to play football than there are Capital One ATM's in the United States. Capi will count $43,200 against the salary cap this year according to Overthecap.com.

Cap could potentially play in his first game this weekend at New Era Field aptly nicknamed "The Cap". The organization is hoping he can serve as a lucky charm, like a rally cap, for the end of the season push for the playoffs.

If the cap fits wear it and that's what the Buffalo Bills decided to do when they promoted Capi from their practice squad. Capi should be proud of himself. To cap it all off at the end of tonight he should pop a bottle cap off of a beer and enjoy himself a night cap.

In case you were wondering, Cap is not his birth name. His birth name is Nordly. You don't need to put on a thinking cap to know if you are named Nordly it's probably a good idea to change your name. Well done Cap.
