Week 13 GIF Recap: BUF vs HOU
The Buffalo Bills beat the Houston Texans 30 - 21 at Ralph Wilson Stadium on Sunday. Tyrod Taylor continues to develop chemistry with Sammy Watkins hitting him for two deep 53 yard catches. One of those catches came on the last drive of the 1st half for Buffalo which would eventually end with Tyrod Taylor completing a beautifully thrown ball in the corner of the end zone to Robert Woods for a touchdown. Buffalo took an 8 point lead going into half.
The Bills did their best to keep it close in the 2nd half as they punted 5 times and missed a field goal on their first 6 drives of the second half. It started to feel like another one of those games where the Bills would play inconsistently from half to half and would eventually find a way to lose. If Carpenter hit the 50 yard field goal it would have meant the Texans would need two scores to tie but instead he missed and the Texans were able to tie the game with a touchdown and two point conversion two drives later.
Buffalo answered back with a 40 yard touchdown pass to a wide open Charles Clay up the middle for the go ahead score. Dan Carpenter would miss the extra point though meaning Houston only need to drive the field and score a touchdown and extra point to win. The Bills defense made a huge stop and Buffalo was able to tack on a field goal for good measure to escape with the victory. This win was huge for keeping Buffalo's playoff hopes alive. Playoffs???? So you're telling me there's a chance!
