Week 9: Picture Recap

Below are 6 reasons why I am giving the Bills a big thumbs up heading into Week 10.

BUF 33 - MIA 17

The Bills got a big win and are back to .500. They look a lot better with Tyrod at QB and with their play makers like Watkins, Williams and McCoy back. Hopefully this team can remain healthy and make a major push for the playoffs.
Tyrod Taylor is back and he looks to be the answer that the Bills need at QB. They did not throw a ton this past week but they didn't need to and when he did he was accurate and efficient. Not to mention he stole a few first downs with his legs.
Sammy Watkins had a great day with 168 yards on 8 catches with a TD. This was the first time him and Tyrod seemed to show any sort of chemistry all season and I look forward to seeing this duo build on that chemistry over the remainder of the season.
The Running Attack is back. With the shiftiness of LeSean McCoy and the downhill bruising style of Karlos Williams the Bills running game came alive. This unit will be very difficult for opposing teams to stop if they can both stay healthy.
Oakland lost this week and Pittsburgh our other main competition for the wild card (besides the Jets...more on that soon) had a major injury to Ben Roethlisbergerwhich should make their push for the playoffs a little bit more difficult. Big Ben is expected out a few weeks.
With a win over the Jets on Thursday night the Bills would hold a playoff spot no matter what else happens. The Jets did not look good against the Jaguars and the Bills should be coming in confident after beating down the Dolphins. Buffalo controls it's own playoff destiny despite a less than ideal start to the season and that's a very good feeling.
